More two tight end sets it is!

They had Brandon Williams doing all of that today. Just an FYI.

Sent from the Carolina Huddle App

He could end up being in a pretty cool and substantial flex-role on the offense.  Has the opportunity to really carve out a niche for himself on the team.

If I don't make other posts, it's often due to the fact that somebody else has already expressed my opinion on things.

What's wrong with pointing out that every play has down years?

Well by that logic, what's wrong with pointing out that he dropped a lot of passes last year, and simply hoping that he will do better here? It's not like I was bad mouthing the guy, unless you want to argue with the facts I pointed out, which you are free to look up yourself and confirm.

McNeill could get more playing time than Williams or Dickson, IMO.

That would be a pleasant surprise, but I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, 4 seasons in the NFL, and only 5 catches for 36 yards. Let's not forget that he played 3 of those seasons with the Rams, who weren't exactly loaded with offensive weapons taking snaps at the time.

I like Dickson.

I don't think he'll be an elite TE, but he doesn't have to be.

I like the fact that we are stacked with play makers at the TE position.

It's going to make our offense a challenge to defend regardless of with TE is out on the field with Olsen.

We also have enough depth at the position, that we shouldn't loss that identity due to injury.

Just a thought....why havent they ever put Tolbert on the line to run that formation. I mean hell, peppers use to do it. Im sure Tolbert is athletic enough to play tight end in some formations.

Because the opposing team would know it's a trap.
