Kaepernick gets mega-deal

Really? Top 10 in passer rating and qbr and yards per attempt and td/int ratio, with one reliable slow WR for more than half the year.

But somehow he cant get to a second read lol

He also had vernon davis a top 5 oline and a top 5 running game that team is built just like the jets were a few years ago when they made it to the nfc championship 3 consecutive years in a row. I really am surprised kapernick got that kind of money I dont think hes worth half that contract but obviously the 49ers think otherwise thats cool we'll see who was right in time.

Our o line regressed last year to middle of the pack. Its great having a top 5 running game, until they dont show up in the playoffs (2013). Its great having a top 5 D, until they dont show up in the playoffs (2012). The one constant that has actually shown up in our big games the last 2 years is Colin Kaepernick, and thats why he's getting paid.

No ginn didnt sew the field for us in 2012. We had crab davis walker and davis. Problem is we only brought back davis, brought in slow Boldin and topped the rest of the receiving core with who are going to be lucky to ever see a field again. So how is having Boldin only at wr better than your wr core?? Youre just making stuff up.

I would take a slow Boldin over any reciever on our roster last year. Look at it position by position then:

Recievers/TE

Crabtree>Smitty (last year)

Boldin>LaFell

Ginn (with Panthers)>Manningham/Osgood/Patton

VD>Olsen

OL

LT Joe Staley>Gross (Slightly)

LG Iupati>Silatolu/Wharton

C Kalil>Goodwin

RG Boone>Scott/Chandler

RT Davis>>>>>Bell

Backs

Gore>Williams

Tolbert>Miller

So you guys are better than us at every position except FB, C, and WR3, and Kap still can't put up Cam's numbers.

That's ridiculous. They are paying him elite money for possible future level of play.

He struggled for a large portion of last season, on a stacked team. Who's to say he'll play well, when he has inferior talent around him.

As annoying as it is now, it should be fun to watch this turd crash and burn. This definitely hurts the 9ers

This could bite them in the ass majorily.

Cam has proven he can put the team on his back and win. Kaepernick really hasn't done that.( regardless of what that 9ers fan said) . Kaepernick is the worst starting player on that stacked team. That's not saying he's bad, far from it. He's an athletic freak who can make eye popping plays.

But they sure are putting a LOT of faith in him and his progression as a qb. They better start drafting well cause there will be a fall off from this kind of money talent wise.

Oline...man.....staley.

If yall wanna keep acting like he had crabtree all season, ill jusg throw the stats at you from when crabtree came back.

61.7%

232 pass ypg

7/1 td/int ratio

101.4 qb rating

Pretty easy to get good stats when you are either told to throw it at a guy if he's open or run.
