Miami Heat vs. San Antonio Spurs

ball handling is mj all day. Ofc hes a better rebounder hes got 3 inches and 50 pounds on mj same with low post d. Passing is subjective. When mj was asked to play point he put up 30 ppg 10 apg and like 7 rpg. When he did pass it was beautiful. He didnt pass as much cause hes a better finisher than lebron. Now 3 pt shooting mj never eclipsed 40 I dont think so you're definitely spot on there. Mj was never a 3pt shooter. Even so lebrons career 3pt% is still only .014 higher. Lebron shoots them a lot more.

MJ had 50% 3pt shooting one year (95) but he shot 32 the whole year so doesn't really count

rebounding, passing, low post defense, better 3 point shooter (don't even debate me here because stats back this up), and you can make a case for ball handling

Rebounding and defense in the post can't be compared because LeBron is so much bigger than Jordan. Pound for pound, Jordan is better at both. The only thing LeBron is better at is 3 pt, Jordan takes the rest. It's like comparing Sugar Ray Robinson (who I wouldn't be surprised if you've never heard of) to Joe Louis. Joe Louis would destroy Sugar Ray in the ring, but Sugar Ray is still 100x the boxer that the Brown Bomber is. LeBron may be able to beat Jordan one on one, but it wouldn't mean anything with the size difference. Jordan overall is a much better player and has had much more of an impact in the league, both for his team and the game.

I would take jordan one on one against anyone. Including Lebron. Lebron couldn't defend his first step. And why the quip about 'i wouldn't be surprised if you've never heard of'. I realize it may not be directed at me but get off your high horse. Yes i know who Sugar Ray Robinson is. It just comes across as a very petty jab. And while Sugar Ray had more Bouts it's a big step to say he's 100x the boxer. Joe Louis had the longest heavyweight title defense ever. Ever. You are correct in that it's apples and oranges because MJ played 2g strictly or combo G at times for his entire career whereas Lebron is a SF/stretch 4.

I agree about Jordan beating anyone 1 on 1 I was just saying it wouldn't say anything even if LeBron could beat him. Sorry about that, that was 100% directed toward MichaelNewton, who is 17 years old and is comparing LeBron and Jordan without ever even seeing Jordan play. Most of that post was directed towards him.  I was a prizefighter back in my younger days and I'd consider myself pretty good and knowledgable about the sport. Sugar Ray is pound for pound the best boxer ever hands down. I've got tapes of every single Sugar Ray and Joe Louis bout ever recorded, and many other fighters. From watching all that, I take away that Sugar Ray is 3x or more better than every boxer including Ali, who was basically a heavyweight poor man's Sugar Ray. Louis was great for his time and as a heavyweight, and 100x may have been an exaggeration, but Sugar Ray is at least 10x better than heavy Joe. I'm a little biased since I met him many times at the Sugar Ray Robinson Foundation after he retired and growing up he was my favorite boxer, but still that man is the all time best. No one even close. That knockout punch on Gene the genie Fullmer was the best punch in the history of the human race. I'm surprised it didn't just straight kill Fullmer. Never got knocked out other than passing out in the heat in a light heavyweight bout that he was winning the entire time. Would've been the first 3-weight division champ. I could go on for days about Sugar Ray, but I'll stop there...
