Peppers checked out long before he left.  I wouldn't give a squirt of piss for his ass.  Can't stand a quitter or a coward.  He is Marcus Dupree without the heart and the ability to read.

Brad Hoover is a better Panther than JP.

Peppers' last 2 seasons - 25 sacks, 10 FF, 2 INTs, TD....he may of checked out but if any guy had that production today we would claim he was the best in the NFL.

Also, in fairness....tell me 89 played hard in 2010. Or that he likely didn't want out like Pep but simply couldn't get traded (he wasn't a FA like Pep).

My only problem with the Miracle from Kinston was that he should have had 35 sacks, 15 FF and 4 INTs and 4 TD's in that period.  People like Sam Mills inspire because he overachieved, Thomas Davis overachieved, Mike Tolbert overachieved, and the list goes on.  People like Pepp make me sick because they don't have the heart to be their best.

I don't want to start an argrue with anyone much less you CRA but I hate Peppers because he could have been the greatest but chose to be great instead.

As far as 89 goes, I have stated in this forum in the past that his refusal to complete the most simple task with his team (such as synchronized stretching when over 80 preseason Panthers besides him are as one while he is walking around talking to ball boys) proved that he never had any intent to be a team player.  He has said so himself on FNZ that he had no intention of helping young players whether it helped the team or not.

Smith was the greatest Panther as an individual but the worst teammate we ever had behind #90.

I don't disagree that Pep could of been better.

He may have been the most Talented, and a athletic freak of nature...I'll give Peppers that

But "89" was way more important for this franchise than Pep. Pep benefitted for years having help on the D-line (Minus the 04 season, he was just on a different planet that year, and imo his best year as a Panther) 89 never really had help on the opposite side, he had a aging Muhammad for a few years, but that was it. I mean compare what 89 did in the playoffs compared to Pep.
