They asked Rogers if his contract will be behavior based... He refused to comment... lol.

 

Milan tried to sell him to Arsenal and Chelsea because Balotelli really wants to live on London.  Both team's said "no thanks"

 

BBC said Arsenal wanted him, but the offer wasn't as high as Liverpool and Balo wasn't keen on the switch. Every failed transfer has two sides.

Sky reported that Milan offered Balloteli but neither Chelsea nor Arsenal wanted him.  Even Wenger himself said he was never interested.  He said Balloteli to Arsenal was all created by media.

If a player rejects you, of course the manager is going to say he wasn't interested. And vice versa. You never can tell who is telling the truth.

Actually, Balloteli wanted to join Arsenal.  He also wants to live in London.  Even Balloteli agent said he had no communication with Arsenal and no bid was ever received.  I have no idea where you get the info that Balotelli rejected Arsenal.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal made enquiries about Balotelli this summer, but Liverpool were most determined to land him. [Gazzetta dello Sport and Sky Italia]

 

I don't trust Sky Italia... they said many things in this transfer window.  They also reported that Baloteli was traveling to North London for medical.  I think Balotteli agent was feeding media fake information and starting poo to create interest.  Balotelli even posted pictures on his twitter account staying beside Arsenal logo, he even attended Arsenal jersey unvealing.  Balotelli to Arsenal was a circus that was mostly created by Balotelli and his agent.

It's possible. They did originally break the Balo to Liverpool story though. Either way, I think Balo is a good fit here. If we start losing, he'll obviously quit. If we have something to play for, I think his crazy ass will produce.

Balo is better than Giroud and Sanogo just because Balo has more mobility.  I think Wenger is looking for big name striker but he's refusing to overpay.  Monaco and PSG both received interest from Arsenal for Cavani and Falcao.  I think Wenger refusing to spend more money because Arsenal did not qualify for Champions League yet.  That's around 50m pounds in TV deals.  Sky reporters also believe Wenger will spend big on one player before window shuts.  I would hope it's a striker.

 

Giroud could of scored so many times in last 2 games but failed every time.  I mean, it gotta drive Wenger nuts.
