2014 Summer Transfer Window: Rumors, Completed Deals, Pipedreams!

Because Juve said they're not for sale and it's likely you guys will stick with Khedira because no one wants him.

Well it would be more accurate to say they are not for sale unless it's for a ridiculous amount.

That said, I don't see either leaving this season. Next season tho?

Real Madrid has reportedly already sold 50,000 #10 James shirts. That's about 1/4 of the way to his entire wages already. That's why clubs like Madrid can spend huge $ each year. They make it back almost instantly.

- Navas is expected to be announced in 2-3 days.

- Perez has stated that Madrid isn't done spending.

- Real will place a bid of 65 million euros for Pogba.

- A back up attacker/striker will be signed after the Pogba/Vidal negotiations.

- Real Madrid is on pace to having a historical summer transfer window.

Good good.  This only means Real Madrid will have a garage sale.

ADM, Khedira and one of the Keepers. Not really that big of a deal if they bring in these additions.

It just matters how many players Madrid will sign.

James  - Di Maria gotta go

Kroos - Isco have to go on loan

Pogba - Khedira have to go

Navas - Casillas have to go

If Madrid continues to buy, players will continue to leave.  If Madrid gets Falcao... Benzema will leave.

Isco doesn't HAVE to go on loan. Not really sure why people are saying that. There will be plenty of minutes to give Isco ample playing time if they sell Khedira and ADM. Could he go out on loan? Sure, and it may be best for his development for him to be playing consistent first team football. But to say he has to to go out is inaccurate imo. The rest I agree with, though I think it will be Diego instead of Iker when Navas comes in.

Remember, there are only 7 players you can have on a bench.  You keep buying midfielders, Isco probably will not even be active for most of the season.  This will kill his value and his progress.

 Isco will be active. That's crazy to even say.

7 players on bench.  Usually 1 GK, 2 D, 2 M and 2 Forwards/Wingers.

So far you purchased Kroos but did not sale a single midfielder.  You also planning on buying Pogba.  If you fail to sale Di Maria and Khedira...  it's gonna be a mess.

They won't buy Pogba without selling Di Maria and Khedira I would assume.

    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
    • 6-10 carries for  35-45 yds and 3-5 catches for 15-25 would be great.
