Everyone is arguing about James Rodriguez, Di Maria, Kroos, Khedira.....and I'm just over here wondering what number Lazar Markovic is going to get.

Don't forget hoping Reus rumor is legit.

It's a calm before the storm?

I mean... players that should be on the move fairly shortly... Di Maria, Khedira, Vidal, Reus, Cavani, Falcao, Schneidrlin, Torres, and many more.  Many teams will have to unload players before season start.  Seems very quiet with 3 weeks to go before season starts.  Someone need to start chain reaction.

yeah, I assume a lot of these players were waiting for the cup to finish before discussing details with their agents. As such, movement should be starting soon, as the top tiers go, then the next follows suit after the dust settles, then the lower tier guys.... then whomever the Spurs manage to scrape off the bottom of the barrel.

FML, lol.

Not sure the accuracy of this, as the poster didn't provide a source, but if true this is very interesting for the EPL:

Not shocking - Chelsea spent the most out of anyone over the past 5 years. I mean, £300 million pounds?? How in the hell are they not getting the points deduction from FIFA?

Edited: So you can read that garbage from earlier

Apparently Chelsea spent most of that money before FFP rules were announced.

I thought that the FFP rules applied to the prior two years though? They still spent £60 for the average for last year though. Meh.. we'll see how it plays out in another year or two I guess.

With Conte quitting Juve literally anything can happen now.

Their targets Evra, Iturbe and Morata all having 2nd thoughts.

Pogba and Vidal might want to leave now.

All depends on who they hire next.

Conte could not have chose a worse(better) time.

Ok... here a morning updates from France

Here's some of the French transfer stories making headlines in L'Equipe today...

  • Paris Saint-Germain have stepped up their pursuit of Argentina winger Angel Di Maria, submitting a 60million euros bid to Real Madrid
  • Monaco are chasing Real Sociedad's France forward Antoine Griezmann, with Real Madrid still poised to swoop for Colombia duo James Rodriguez and Falcao
  • Ivory Coast striker Salomon Kalou is keen on a return to England but Lille are yet to receive a bid for him

Also Chelsea agreed 20m pounds fee for Fillipe Luiz, now only personal agreement left.

Arsenal agreeed on 20m pounds fee for Sami Khedira, now only personal agreement left.  Arsenal and Khedira are 1.5m pound off in annual wages.  Arsenal offered 110,000 pounds in weekly wages, Khedra demands 135,000 pounds. (The same salary Alexis Sanchez makes).

Di Maria to PSG will trigger sale of Cavani to EPL.
