Sorry, but perhaps you've missed history. You know, where clubs overreact to World Cup performances?

There's a looooooong history.

Sorry but you must have missed him playing in the Champions League with Porto. Go ahead and keep grasping at straws for you James = flash in the pan theory.

I'm done arguing. All I needed to read was you implying that James isn't "proven" to know you're out of your mind. Isco is a fine player, but right now (not 3 years from now) James is better. With Alonso likely on his way out in a year or two, and Khedira/Di Maria leaving in a matter of days it's not absurd to add three midfielders. James, Kroos and a Defensive Mid (we'll say Veratti for arguments sake). You've arguably made yourself much stronger, and put yourself in position to replace CR7 down the line if his knee continues to give him problems. At the same time you've got a young star who is versatile and plays multiple positions. And lets be real, profits matter so his ability to sell a shitload of shirts is an added bonus.

Apparently Real Madrid really wants Khedira to stay.  German Welt.de reporting that Khedira wants to join Arsenal.  We'll see...

Think it all depends on if they can find another Defensive Mid. If they were to land Veratti they would dump him in a second I bet. That said, I'm not opposed to him staying. When healthy, Khedira can be a quality option.

James Rodriguez has reached an agreement with Real Madrid. Monaco have to negotiate with Real Madrid over a fee now.

This guys been pretty money so far this Summer, so I feel pretty comfortable linking his tweet. Still the big hurdle is getting Monaco to agree to a price.

James and Isco are not the same type of player. Wtf? Where did that come from? James is way more dynamic(pace, dribbling style) than Isco and can easily play as a winger or as a SS.

Simply put, Isco is a midfielder with the ability to play high up, whereas JR is a attacker withe the ability to play deeper in midfield. Big difference.

Even tho Isco is my favorite player on RM(I love the dude's game) I can acknowledge JR is better than him. He was arguably much better than Falco in Monaco and had a stellar WC. That said I don't think he's head and shoulders ahead of Isco.

Plus hot head(Verratti) is a deep lying playmaker who controls the tempo more than a DM. He's closer to a Xabi Alonso/Pirlo than Khedira. Not sure he and Kroos fits but meh I don't care too much. If he sucks maybe Milan can get him on the cheap. :(

How exactly is James better? They're virtually the same prospect only one is more built to play winger and the other midfielder. James features superior pace while dribbling and distributes better but Isco is the superior passer and is more creative. Again, their stats mirror each other quite well. In fact, Isco edges him out despite playing less. Why the hell should we pay 50-60 million more for him when we've got virtually the same player and no room for him? It makes no sense at all, especially now if Di Maria isn't leaving. We're bloated at that position.

He's better because he is more complete even tho they are pretty much the same age.

Firstly it's not totally fair to compare stats when 1) Isco played much less than James 2) Isco is disgustingly surrounded by WC talent whic makes things easier for him sometimes.

Isco is definitely better than James in terms of short passing accuracy, but James is far superior crosser of the ball as well as long range passing(which is why he can play deep in MF and be effective). They are about even in terms of through balls.

I'm not sure where Isco "edges" James out. Maybe in 1 maybe two categories but overall? James is better.

And Madrid can easily fit in James, especially in a 4-2-3-1.

-----Modric - Kroos---

Bale - James - CR7

----- Benzema ------

Isco and James can easily play together. in the same formation above.(or a 4-3-3)

Modric-Kroos

Bale - Isco -James

CR7

If Madrid buy James, he'll be starting for sure(assuming Di Maria is gone)

In terms of money, is that really an issue for RM, especially if they sell Khedira and Di Maria? I really don't think so.

Keep in mind, there's rumors of us altering our scheme again from the 4-3-3 to the 4-2-3-1. If Khedira and Di Maria are indeed staying, it's a damn cluster**** to sign him period. There's no other way to describe it.

Carvajal -- Varane -- Ramos -- Coentrao

------- Modric --- Khedira/Alonso -----

Bale --- Kroos/Isco/Di Maria --- Ronaldo

--------------- Benzema ---------------

Tell me, where the hell are we gonna fit him?????

Pretty obvious they will only buy James once Khedira and Di Maria are sold. No way they will give Di Maria the wage he wants, same with Khedira.

With those 2 gone. James slot into 4-2-3-1 perfectly.

Khedira have to be sold... He's a free agent in less than a year and he's refusing to sign a new deal with Madrid.  Di Maria apparently feels disrespected at Madrid and looking at options to move.

Apparently PSG is in hot water with FIFA over spending like crazy again and disregarding FFP rules.  They have to sell Cavani in order to get Di Maria. I think Manchester United will swoop in.  They hoping to get Vidal and Di Maria by month end.

Cavani wants out and Cavani wants to be a starter... This won't happen in Manchester and Chelsea.  This is going to be very interesting transfer window.  I can bet Wenger will try to offer PSG something like 38m pounds for Cavani and see if PSG will sale at crazy bargain.

FIFA or UEFA?

Why is Vidal's name keep popping up? Everyone close to Juve are saying he's not for sale, yet English papers keep putting up BS rumors. lol
