'Incredible'? Dude, I know you're in love with James but you do realize he was a disappointment today, right? James has been outstanding against poo squads but today only reinforces that he's overhyped and overpaid. Until James has a kickass game against the Barcelonas, Liverpools, Atleticos, etc of the world he's a flop to me. Isco had seven freaking tackles today. I'm sorry but James can't even compete against a 'bench' player.

 

Isco was playing further back too. He should have more tackles. James didn't have his best game, but he did set up Ronaldo's goal. Yes, James was playing exceptional football heading into the match which was my point all along. Feel free to ignore the central point of the argument next time too.....

I am so happy about the Bayern game.  I was at work and unable to watch on my phone so I was only getting updates, but it was still a lot of fun.  Then I realized that it was the first time I had really been happy about sports since the World Cup final.  The last few months have been depressing as crap on that front.

Must be tough to be at the top of the Bundesliga table, leading your UCL group, and having allowed a grand total of 2 goals across all matches since August. I feel for you.

Yeah, they are doing well.  I normally am not too into it this early in the year.  I was referring to the Red Sox sad season, the Panthers poor play and all the crap going on at UNC (not to mention my losing my Fantasy MLB on the final day of the season).

 

Once winter rolls around soccer and college basketball rise to the top of my watch list, although with the way things are going it may happen sooner than normal this year.
