That actually wasn't terrible. We held some possession and didn't make many mistakes. Real didn't have that many chances. Nothing in attack whatsoever though

 

Kolo probably could have stopped that cross in to Benzema. Good goal though.

 

All-in-all, I think they played well. We had a few opportunities, but giving Joe Allen the ball in the box and expecting good things to happen is just stupid. That cross by Moreno was gold at the end, but of course no one was there.

If Bayern beats Manchester City in 2 weeks (as they should, Manchester City will be missing both starting DMs) that will be the end of Manchester City Champion Leagues hope.  Then Bayern will probably get Arsenal to play against.

Works for me.  Really the one team I would not want to play in the Ro16 is whoever finishes second out of Barca and PSG.

 

I was disappointed to see Schalke lose today, they really blew an opportunity.  Could have been tied with Chelsea and they get Chelsea at home.  Should still make it out of the group but it would have been cool to see half the groups won by German teams.
