Who the fug actually follows NASCAR?

Forgive me if I missed this, but why can't there be one forum for NASCAR and one for soccer? Why require sharing or elimination of the other?

 

Just can't afford the fees for a new forum infrastructure. Write me a check and maybe I can make something happen. Besides, the two sports are basically the same.

Noticed that the "Introduce Yourself" forum is now gone. Does that free up a spot for a new forum? I don't know how this crap works. Seems logical to me.

Introduce yourself is still there.  Only female huddlers can see it and post there.  So they can use it to introduce themselves to the moderating team.

NASCAR was doomed when they took the "Stock" out of Stock Cars about 40 years ago.

What goes around, comes around. Nobody knows that better than NASCAR.

It is now time to return the favor by taking the NASCAR out of the NASCAR/Soccer sub-forum.

For me, it ended when the feeder system broke down. There used to be a progression - late models>Busch>Winston Cup. That's why most Cup drivers used to be in their 30's and 40's - they had earned their way there. If Dale Earnhardt were a young driver today, he'd never make it out of the dirt tracks.

Aside from Dale Jr., the teams being based here and history, NASCAR's more of a West Coast thing now than it is a Southern thing. Look at where the races are. Look where most of the drivers are from.
