Madden Cover Finals: Cam Newton vs Richard Sherman

Its not desperate man, its the truth. We are a low market team. Our star QB on a major game would be great for the franchise. Yea, wins are way more important, but this would be pretty cool. Not the end of the world, but we kno Cam wants it. If we can help then great, if not, at least we tried. Then either way, he can go try and win us a super bowl.

You all do realize that the general NFL fan base hates Cam Newton, and many d*ck ride the Seahawks and Sherman? No possible chance that Cam wins it. And I'm perfectly fine with that, who the hell cares about some video game cover..

If Cam gets on the cover, (stupid) people are going to blame the "Madden Curse" if:

 

A. Panthers win less than 12 games. If Newton puts up 5000 total yards and 40 total TDs, but the Panthers go 9-7? MADDEN CURSE!!

 

or

 

B. Cam doesn't match his stats from last year. 3000 yards passing, 20 TDs and the Panthers go 15-1? MADDEN CURSE!!!!11

 

Basically, if he gets on, and the team's wins or his stats regress any...Madden Curse will be blamed. (I would be happy with either one of the above scenarios, so long as the Panthers make the playoffs in scenario A.)

Unless there's a different Madden Curse that I'm not aware of, the Madden Curse has never been about stats of a player but about the player donning the cover getting injured in the same year. And no, I'm not saying that I believe or believed in it, but there were players that got injured the year of their cover and it was simply dubbed "the Madden Curse".

People should understand that this year Madden is based around Defense how you can build you D to win and all that. Sherman already wins this. It is fixed. EA is just making it look like it ain't. But reality is that it is fixed all the way. Cam doesn't have a chance.

Cam's gonna win it.  Sherman turned a lot of 'Merica off with his rant after the NFC Championship game.

Until a more devious manner is devised I personally have 8 devices voting for Cam daily and come Monday, seven little plebs that rely on me for their next paycheck will be sending me video evidence they are doing the same.

Cam Newton cares. 2 years ago he said so himself when he was in the finals vs CJ. Cams a big Madden gamer. He wants the cover and he cares.
