I may not agree with everyone in this thread but I'm not going to tell them not to post.

Its not desperate man, its the truth. We are a low market team. Our star QB on a major game would be great for the franchise. Yea, wins are way more important, but this would be pretty cool. Not the end of the world, but we kno Cam wants it. If we can help then great, if not, at least we tried. Then either way, he can go try and win us a super bowl.

Its more than the whole "we have crappy fans" argument.  Sherman has won his previous two matchups by receiving an average of 65% of the vote.  Cam has won his previous two matchups by receiving an average of 57%, against weaker competition.  America loves jumping on bandwagons, and right now Sherman is probably the most talked about NFL player in the league.

Kaepernick had the #3 selling jersey in the NFL last year.  Luck wasn't even top 15.  Yes, I would say he is weaker competition for a madden cover vote.

He's a great corner but the media won't stop with this guy. If you saw the reveal today you saw first hand. Right afterwards they put up an old Caliendo skit about sherman.

 

Its cool though. We will just need to get creative in more ways than one.
