I'm honestly not that into Madden.  Can't really say I care all that much about who gets on the cover to tell the truth.

Reading all the comments on the Panthers Facebook & Twitter that pretty much state, "ZOMG OH NOES YOU GUIYZ TEH MADDEN IS TEH CURST!!! VOTE FER SHURMUN!!!" made my head hurt after about 15 seconds.

On an unrelated note, wasn't Steve Smith on a Madden cover several years ago? Seem to remember a cover that had 4-5 guys on it & Smith was one of them.

I saw that too. I really hope they are joking but I think most of them are serious. Kinda scary and sad and the same time. I mean chances are if your on the cover your one of the best players in the league that year and chances are you won't repeat it next year and all of a sudden people think it is a curse because you didn't meet expectations of your former year.
