Nice thought from Trai Turner

I'm as excited about this kid as I am KB. We havnt had a mauler on the right of the OL since Otah left. While Turner isn't a RT; that San Fran game where we were held on the 1 yard line (I can't even remember how many times) won't happen again. A guy like Turner in there would have resulted in at least 14+ more points early in that game, which would have made that game Completly different.

This could end up being a going out party for smash and dash this season before we rid one next offseason

I just find it hard to believe that our o-line depth is so bad we are counting on a converted d-lineman to anchor the left side. That speaks volumes to me.

im with you SCP. i find it hard to believe that Gettleman and the FO are so stupid as to let the OL go with no effort to improve. they must truly think that the talent is there to produce during the season. if thats what they think then i believe in their plans

Eeeehhh, I wouldn't necessarily call that lineup 'scary'. 'Unknown' or 'unproven' would be better words.

If Turner looks good and Amini is back to form, the interior line actually looks pretty solid.

The tackles? We'll see, but don't discount the improvement that young players tend to show on an annual basis.

Amini back to form? Has he truly ever been in form?

I saw a report that some scouts and NFL insiders were saying that Bell was a natural LT and that he had a perfect skill set for the position. So.... Who knows maybe he'll be a good LT. Playing RT and LT are completely different and it's hard to be good at both
