It is funny to me how the league refuses to acknowledge Cam as a top tier quarterback and top talent. Some have crossed over but not all.

Bottom line the best three quarterbacks to build a team around for the next 10 years is Rodgers, Cam and Luck.

Hes made the Pro Bowl his last 2 seasons based in large from peer recognition. The league recognizes him pretty well.

I'm starting to think that I could build a website and get Mr Scot, SCP, and 5 other random huddlers together and we'd be able to put out a better product than this rubbish.

Me and a few dudes hooked up with a printer and made a monthly. I covered the panthers. (I can't even type that with a straight face)

It got me a sideline pass for every home game for two years. My last visit to BofA was delhommes fateful Saturday eve. My off the shelf slr was all I carried as I wandered the sidelines taking it all in. It never got old.

The goal of the pub was to secure " ungettable " access to whatever. We got college everything outside of UNC and Ncsu who only give play to weeklys. I did get one sideline pass to UNC per year. BC one year and I can't remember the other.

The pub still exists in a different form today.

What you casually mentioned is MUCH easier than you think. Our group had a sum total of ZERO experience in the industry when we got started. None of us even write as a hobby. It was hilarious. Doors just kept opening the harder we sold it.

What we invested was more than reasonable for what we got in return. An un-buyable ticket. Eventually the damn thing paid for itself with ads here and there.

I still can't believe it worked to this day, but it did.

I'm pretty confident you know he didn't make the Pro Bowl his last two seasons. Year one, and year three only. Year 2 he was overlooked.

Maybe one day. My kid will turn 4 in August and since he came around he has taken up all the time I once spent posing as media. One tip I would give now however is to slurp the 49ers. That startup alone could propel you into some cred with Carolina if you make a link and work it right.

Yes, my general disdain for media types stems from how much of a joke/sham/farce the industry is as a whole. I was there as a sports fan. You would not believe the amount of these clowns who are there in the bowels of BofA eating free lunch after clicking pics of players in the tunnel pre-runout that spend an entire lunch complaining about this and that. Whining really. I never got that.

That said, there are some awesome writers in the business that I respect immensely. It's a shame none of them cover the Panthers.
