Honestly, WTH is the deal with all the injuries?

Every year we lose some guys during TC and others during the season. Unfortunately it was Kemo at a position we are very thin. Nothing unusual or different. As others have said, damn tweets just raise the anxiety level sooner until we find out that most times it isn't something to get upset about.

Reed and Gantt always put that about Muhammad. Mildly clever but they've never had much positive to say about a guy who means this much to us. Then again this time last year people were wondering whether Moose would be happy playing the slot role, right? Even saying that since Hackett was a lock, Jarrett might have a shot at beating him for the slot.

As for the injuries, they happen. Beason actually did say he didn't stretch well enough on his - I don't get that. Beason is the heart of this team and all, but it's not like players can't stretch with their daily workouts anyway.

This is why Twitter is so awful. Anyone can post. Gantt aside, "tweeters" don't follow the moral codes journalists HAVE TO. Just wait, as Twitter goes on and on, you'll see lawsuits for slander, etc and horrible rumors ruin people. But now that fans can do it too, you could get 500 "jake limped today" tweets, that will get overblown and have Huddlers freak out.

We are receiving information a lot faster now. Because things are real time and there is limited followup we get half the story. For example, you get a tweet about an injury to TD but in order to followup someone has to ignore everything else and follow the injury. This does not happen so you file it away as another crazy injury this year when in fact the guy is back in the lineup before you read the original post.

Understand that the natural reaction is to overreact as you most probably never have all of the details.

Outside of a lost Kemo, a tweaked Beason, a few heat things, and a Gantt that can't keep his thumb quiet....who's been injured?

Honestly, I'm asking. Was out of the loop yesterday and today.

Exactly!!!!!!

We have had ONE injury in TC (Kemo). The Beason tweak, the Robinson heat, Davis hitting legs with someone else, etc.. are normal parts of camp.

The fact that we get twitters saying "Davis Injures Knee"....and then finding out it was nothing (only hit knees with someone else)....is what is feeding this doom and gloom personality of the board lately.

DOWN WITH TWITTER.

Yep, it's a big (340 pound) loss, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'd bet a half dozen teams each year lose someone during camp (maybe not for the season but for multiple weeks).

I'd rather get it out of the way now than in week two--more time to adjust.

    • It didn’t feel like we’re the Bills bc we’re not a consistent conference contender yet we’re a rebuilding team. But with the game on the line we played just like the Bills went straight down the field and scored a tuddy then converted a 2pt conversion I have to give credit where credit is due. And the chiefs played us like we were the Bills in an AFC championship game, drive down the field and kicked a walk off FG to win at the end very similar to me. Are saying our defense stunk yesterday? Vs an elite offense team with elite coaching an elite QB man idk what you want them to do. KC does these things to the best defenses in the league consistently to win AFC chips and Super Bowls let’s not devalue who they are. I saw us play KC to the wire and barely lose defense did its thing as much as it could. Bingo!!! We’re also forgetting how injured we’ve been defensively this year, yes we need to build up the D but adding a few pieces and D Browns successful rehab should make us a very strong unit again. Couple that with the offense we saw yesterday and we’re winning our division.
    • Canales deserves a lot of credit. I'm very pleased. He's definitely making strides with Bryce. I also think some of his lack of commitment to Bryce as the starter is to motivate Bryce. I think he liked what he saw when Bryce was benched.  Even the Defense looks tremendously better with just a couple more pieces getting healthy. Wonnum has made our pass rush viable again.  I would love to see this team with one more good player across the defensive front, DT or an edge rusher.
    • I didn’t see any limitations yesterday
