Colorado is pretty much like NC this time of year meaning that there's scattered thunderstorms most days. However, the notion that it rains everyday here in the summer is one of the most idiotic things I've ever read. It would be tough to have an arid environment with wildfires every summer if it was raining everyday.

Just about every August we're practically begging for rain up here in Evergreen because the place is usually a dry tender box just waiting for a spark.

 

Yeah that's pretty much what everyone told me while I was there. I mentioned how green it was but they told me it's unusual to have the rain they've had recently. My gf lives there and she did say it will dry up soon and everything will die.

It's as green right now as I've seen it in my 8 years living here, at least on the east side of the divide.  The western side of the divide is generally wetter and greener.

I'm planning a trip back in Sept so will def go there to watch the game. Should be blast.

 

Heard good things about Colorado from the handful of people I know that have been there. Lots to do out doors. Lots of stuff going on.

Yeah but no beach. Got to have some ocean near by for me. Only reason I go there now is because I'm dating someone that lives there but do enjoy the area. Everyone is really nice and friendly.

I didn't do any sightseeing when there last time but plan to the next trip. That and watch a game at Shelby's. I look forward to that more than anything......other than seeing my gf or course.

Trail Ridge Road is always a good time. Just be ready to be sick if you stay up there too long.

We had a thread about this last year.....I remember posting this pic when my friends were out there for the Panthers/Falcons game:

 

 

 

 

They also give out blue Panther shots for free to the entire bar every time we score......we have bigtime representation out there!

On topic: How can I watch games in Sydney, Australia? With apparently terrible pay-as-you-go WiFi and the practically opposite time difference (our PM is close to their AM), I'm gonna be running into issues.

Any Australian or even Asian Panther fans?

where are you staying? any hostel should have week-long wifi options for a decent price so you won't have to dump the coin in the stupid slot.
