North/South Carolina beach recommendation

Anybody know of any NC/SC beaches where dogs can be off the leash year round? Most that I know of are either on leash or off leash before Memorial Day and after Labor Day.

The only dog friendly, off-leash, year-round beach is Duck.

Ocean Isle Beach is a good place. I was just there over the weekend. We go every Memorial Day Weekend. Pretty beach. Friendly. There is a really good restuarant I like called Sharkeys. Give it a try. I believe it is about 45 miles from Wilmington. I never had any nonsense there. Just abunch of families and young people having a good time.

 

 

Next time drive down south about 15 min to Calabash. Nice places to eat all around there right off the inlet with tons of boats and action on the water. 

 

Tony's Pizza is really good and all the other places are seafood. I don't eat seafood but the family all does and I think the place is called Nances.

Kiawah and ocean isle were both great recommendations. Ocean isle is a quiet family beach north of myrtle and Kiawah is more of a tropical town rather than a beach town but it is near he beach nonetheless, it is very upscale but a very nice relaxing environment and worth seeing.

To add on to that... I would try The Seafood Hut... If you love fried seafood and hush puppies then you will absolutely love this place.. One of the best seafood restaurants in Calabash!

Tony's Pizza is my favorite pizza place in all of Brunswick county and my wife LOVES their cazones.
