Prediction: Kelvin Benjamin > Sammy Watkins

Recommended Posts

most of cam's interceptions and tipped balls come from him throwing lasers.   i don't see what is so hard to understand aboutthat.

That's wrong. I believe it actually came from Cam not setting his feet right and either throwing higher than his receivers were expecting or throwing to a different place than the wr was expecting. I don't think I remember a single time where Cam's pass was on target and the wr bobbled it or tipped it for a int because it was too fast.

Agreed.

Sometimes people just try to make stuff up, and expect no one notices.

I would also add, receivers running wrong routes as well (miscommunication/wrong spot), regarding some of those passes.

yes cam has a noodle arm and throws soft fluttery passes that are silky smooth

sorry guys, i must have been watching matt ryan throw fireballs these last 3 seasons

You seem to go from one opposite of the spectrum to the other. If we say we disagree with your assertion that cam's bullet passes are the reason why he get's those ints it doesn't mean we believe that cam throws "soft fluttery passes". Take some chill pills.

Maybe I missed it but.....here are possible reasons why Kelvin Benjamin could have a more productive season then Sammy Watkins.

Productive is relative is catches or yards or average or TDs?

(1) Kelvin will likely see as many if not more targets then Sammy because the Panthers offense has more targets available and fewer options then the Bills

(2) Cam > EJ

(3) Kelvin has a bigger catch radius, is a bigger RZ target. Last year despite about 50 fewer catches Kelvin still had 15 TDs 3 more then Watkins

TLDR: Kelvin is more of a RZ threat, should get a bunch of targets and has a better QB.

You're all over the place, still reaching.

You're first statement was about Steve Smith, which I disagreed with. Smith pretty much caught everything Cam threw his first two years of Cam's tenure. Even last year, he pretty much caught everything that was catchable (there were some mis-communications/bad routes, bad throws).

Then you tried to apply it to all Panther receivers this year (despite the fact Smith was in a decline, and LaFell was horrible in certain instances). Nonetheless, you may have had a point with Lafell (some tipped balls), if you would have initially went and stayed there. However, you didn't (and IG Saint, did point out those balls were high, and/or bad routes, mis-communications).

Now, you're making generalizations, and insulting other QB's, because Cam has a strong arm to make your [initially] weak/wrong point on Smith (now we come full circle).

You can't make this up.

Just let it go.

you're the one that won't let it go.   my point is cam's only flaw is his lack of touch, but saying something about the god of carolina football obviously rubs some people the wrong way on here

i won't even bother pointing out that smitty had to start catching cam's passes with his body.   everyone on the team has to.
