I think I'll have a lot of fun at the tailgates. I think I'll remember at least half of it.

I think I'll be hoarse after most games. I think I'll be happy after most of them as well.

I think our road schedule is brutal, but believe that we should win a few away from home. I don't see us going undefeated at home, but we'll go 6-2 at least.

I think that our offense will be recognized as one of the NFL's best, Jake will be fine and better than most people expect, and Stewart will get as many or more highlights than Williams.

I think our defense will be very different, although it will look a lot like the one we've seen over the years. The line play will look better, Meeks won't get as cute with stuff as Trgovac did, and it will look faster and more aggressive even though we won't blitz as much. To be honest, I wondered how well Meeks would use Kemo anyway.

I really think we're going 8-8 or better. A lot depends on how well New Orleans does with their defense this year, because it's us or them for the division champs.

Teams will have to put 8 or 9 in the box, which is not the right thing to do because then when D-Will or Stew break through they can take it the distance (proved that last season). Also, I have a feeling Smitty will have a monster year. Jake will bounce back and be fine.

Defense will be the question mark of course, but sometimes a little adversity can go a long way (remember the year we had no running backs in the second half of the year and almost made the playoffs). They know they poo the bed last year down the stretch, and Meeks seems to bring in a bit more of an aggressive nature on D (with our speedy linebackers that should be a big plus).

Special teams....our coverage was much better last year, the brit will keep the opposition starting at the 20 which helps our defense tremendously.

And don't place too much stock in the "tough schedule". If you'll look at history, last year's good teams don't all repeat as good teams the next.

Hopefully the games will be fun to watch but i absolutely despise losing so I'm not sure how much fun a 7-9 season can actually be

Unfortunately I feel the same, having a starter go down week one on IR is never a good sign.

I don't think that it will be that bad, but I am not expecting more than 10 wins, and IMO 9-7 sounds about right.
