Romo is underrated and the least of their problems.

My hatred runs deep. We've been cheated out of every regular season match with them since 2005.

I think that had more to do with play calling, think about how a match up against them would've gone last season... Yeah yet another W for Cam and company.

I just don't have irrational Cowboy hatred.

There is nothing irrational about hating the cowboys. They are a horribly run franchise that is adored by hundreds of thousands. They haven't done anything in 20 seasons and yet the media hypes them up every year and they fail.

Then you get things like in 2007 when Matt Moore was QB and we played them at home and there were 2-3 blatant officiating issues that cost us a very winnable game (yes I'm blaming the refs). At the time of that game they were tied for first place in the NFC with Green Bay. The league just couldn't let "America's Team" lose to us. There is much to be hated about them.

That's the thing. They're a potential playoff team every year. Key word being potential. And yet the media acts like they're on the verge of a SB run and we're supposed to care.

The "choke artist" and "can't win big games" cliches get thrown around a lot by the sports media. Most of the time, its BS getting tossed around so people have something to talk about. E.g. with Peyton Manning.

 

Romo might be the one guy who those statements accurately describe though.  I've never seen a QB with a propensity for blowing huge leads or throwing interceptions with the game on the line like he does.  Its almost mind blowing how the Cowboys lose some of the games they do. He's a talented QB who puts up great stats and looks great most of the time in games, just like the Cowboys as a team often look like they should be a contender but manage to go 8-8.  This is what makes following them so hilarious. If he was just a poo QB who threw 20 TDs to 30 INTs while the team went 4-12, it wouldn't be nearly as amusing.

 

Also, I get that the defense was responsible for a lot of those loses.  That's why I said "Romo and Garrett."  But its important to take note of Romo's critical role in fuging up key situations.
