If enough media heads say we suck, maybe the other teams will buy in. I'd rather get overlooked than be the division target.

I expect a slight decline from 12-4, mostly because we caught some breaks last year and executed so well down the stretch. 

 

But, I still think as long as the defense is Top 5-ish and Cam is healthy, we're a playoff caliber team.

Need based drafts and spending sprees are never indicators of a good season. 

 

Not really directed at you but.....has there ever been a spending spree that was successful?

Haha the dream team, what a joke. Overspending in FA never works. All you get is hamstringed by massive contracts that dont match production.

You forgot easy target with a QB that most of the media still carries grudges against and the likes of the beloved falcons and saints whom we put in their place last year doing the things you mentioned in your list.

it really isnt that egregious of an article.  it isnt like any reporter is really going to go out on a limb and predict against the obvious this time of year.

There's a lot of similarities there too. Pass Rushing and QB are the biggest strength's, a shift towards featuring the big possession receivers more often than the speed guys, and a ragtag secondary.
