With that logic, Kam Chancellor doesn't count either because he was taken the same year as hardy just one round earlier in the 5th. Sherman was taken one year later so he counts? I don't understand where the cutoff point is.

Just a little advice, no one will take you seriously if you come up with arbitrary reasons to discredit someone's response simply because you don't want to be wrong about something. You are basically acting like the kid on the schoolyard who makes up rules in the middle of a game just so he can win.

If you didn't want people to say Hardy, you should have added "other than Greg Hardy" to your original comment.

Back to the original point: the seahawks have gotten very lucky with their late round talent, A bunch of their other picks have turned into jack crap, and that's the early round guys. The late rounds are a crapshoot, nothing else. Just because they hit on a couple doesn't make them the end all to be all of scouting departments. If they keep doing it, then yeah, I'll concede that they are the best. But until they hit on 100% of their picks, I'll chalk it up to good fortune for late round guys.

seattle had what will probably be considered two historically signficant drafts back to back with ludicrous value and production all over the place.  that kind of thing is rare and is not something that's easily replicated.  the 2010 draft was a once in a decade A+ kind of grand slam home run.  their first four selections in the 2011 draft were good if nothing amazing and it was sherman with the fifth pick that made the entire draft in the popular consciousness.

that guy is aceboogie's kid brother and he's not worth arguing with.  he knows that the real bullets won't start flying for several months so he can jerk off over what everybody else's draft looks like on paper and use circular logic all he wants to prove that dave gettleman is the worst GM in NFL history and nobody can prove him wrong.

The general rule of thumb is typically that 1st and 2nd rounders are guys you draft to come in and start almost immediately, 3rd and 4th rounders are rotational players, 5th and 6th special teamers, and 7th rounders are guys that will have to compete for a spot

this one time when I was a kid, I was playing on this retaining wall with my friend and I leaned over too far and ended up flipping over the edge (because I was a kid and stupid) and I did a full front flip and landed on my feet. That was not a failure and I couldn't do it again if I tried. Twas dumb luck.

We have no gems on this team. No Keenan Allen, no Sherman, etc? Don't understand what you whatting about!

Hardy, Klein, Lester, White? And our current scouting department was very successful in finding late round/ UDFA gems in the past and winning Super Bowls. You're a moron.
