PFF: Kuechly among NFL's most overrated.

I actually thought Davis played better than Kuechly last year. Just my opinion. Dude was all over the field and playing lights out.

Luke has merely scraped the surface of his talent. Davis is in his prime.

I agree, but Davis will never get the credit he deserves. I think he's fuging awesome.

if PFF thinks Luke is overrated, they don't think he is overrated by much. 12 days ago, PPF released their top 101 of 2013 and they ended up having TD as the 2nd best 4-3 OLB and Luke as the 2nd best 4-3 MLB in the world...

2. Thomas Davis

3. Brian Orakpo (2013 Pro Bowl)

4. Vontaze Burfict (2013 Pro Bowl, 2013 2ndT All-Pro)

OLB (both 3-4 and 4-3)

1. Lavonte David 4-3 (2013 All-Pro)

2. Robert Mathis 3-4 (2013 Pro Bowl, 2013 All-Pro)

3. Justin Houston 3-4 (2013 Pro Bowl)

4. Thomas Davis 4-3

5. Tamba Hali 3-4 (2013 Pro Bowl, 2013 2ndT All-Pro)

6. Aldon Smith 3-4

7. Von Miller 3-4

8. Elvis Dumervil 3-4

9. Brian Orakpo 4-3 (2013 Pro Bowl)

10. Vontaze Burfict 4-3 (2013 Pro Bowl, 2013 2ndT All-Pro)

11. Trent Cole 3-4

NR Terrell Suggs 3-4 (2013 Pro Bowl)

NR John Abraham 3-4 (2013 Pro Bowl)

NR Ahmad Brooks 3-4 (2013 Pro Bowl, 2013 2ndT All-Pro)

yep the book is pretty much written on a 23 year old middle linebacker coming off his second season.  the crux of it is the fact that he's not an elite coverage linebacker yet and he got burned by gonzalez, gronk, and graham at varying points last season.  that would be the greatest tight end to ever play the game and the 1a and 1b players at that position in the NFL currently if anybody forgot.  he did have two huge interceptions on passes thrown to gonzalez and graham in single coverage but we won't mention those.

go to any board on the internet and you can find a "kuechly is overrated and didn't deserve his DPoY and he's not even the best linebacker in his conference that's (david/bowman/willis/whoever)" circle jerk.  even during all those years when roy williams couldn't cover anything but was still racking up pro bowls along with a bunch of other cowboys it wasn't like this.

Omg guys let it go. Who gives a fuq?

PFF rates Star and Short as the best young DT combo and u all start fapping about it. Then they say Keek's overrated and u all run and grab your pitch forks. Let it go, no one really cares

The dude won DPOY, so maybe they think hes not #1, but still top 3-5. Still great. Or maybe the fact that Keek has very poor coverage skills compared to most great MLB's has something to do with it.

Let it go. I think we will all be ok after this
