Is he officially 6'6? I was wondering how tall he was because I saw him next to Olsen and thought to myself he looked a bit taller. The measurements you posted would explain it if accurate. Where did you find your info? Just curious.

 

I remember back in his Auburn days ESPN sports science talked about Cam's body could be molded to play LT, DE, TE, WR, & OLB with training.

I also never noticed just how fuging large Cam's frame is.  Cam is still toned but he doesn't seem as cut as he normally is, but that's to be expected when you've been in a walking boot for 2 months and not able to really work out.  Nothing to really be worried about there.

 

Cam is actually almost 6'6" (and is/was) 262 lbs.

That's what I've told SF fans who say Colin is just as big as Cam. They may be nearly the same height/weight but Cam is just a bigger human being. His natural frame is enormous whereas Colin has a thin frame with a lot of added muscle. Both are huge and athletic freaks, but they're still very different.

Look at Cam's forearm, shoulder, & legs. He's just a massive man. Colin, on the other hand, has a very thin frame.

John Gruden said it best...

"If you were to go into a scientist laboratory and build the perfect QB, he'd look exactly like Cam Newton. That kid is a specimen."

 

They're not the same weight. 

 

The reason why Cam's frame looks larger, cause it is. Cam has always been around 260 lb, at almost 6'6" (though he's listed at 6'5" 245 lb most times). 

 

If SF fans say that; then they're just saying it to say it, and really don't know or follow football or these players.

Even Cam, and the Panther coaches admitted he was 260 lbs. That's no big secret. 

 

Every NFL Player who's ever met him (Deon Sanders, Brett Favre, etc.), says he's 260 lbs. 

 

He looks 260 lbs to me as well (especially in comparison to other players, who we know their dimensions). 

 

Where you get 240-245 lbs from (and don't say his listing). For some reason, Cam has a fascination with being skinnier.

Yes, Cam is about 6'6" (if you rounded off). He's closer to 6"6" even, than 6"5" even. And he's more like 260lbs (especially his first two years), than 250lbs as well. 

 

Maybe he's 255lbs now???
