I would reject the notion that Manziel is 'already better' than any QB with at least a year in the NFL under his belt.

The difference between college and pro quarterbacking is so significant that I can honestly say I wouldn't take Manziel over Blaine Gabbert right now.

Get him coached up to the pro level and let him get some experience under his belt and then we can start making comparisons. But right now, he's just a college QB taking his first steps toward becoming a pro.

Yea I stop reading after that .. Sam is undersized, slow , and I think doesn't understand coverage ... He just knows get to the qb .. Which at this level (nfl) he need more then that .. He might have not been a top 15 pick but maybe I feel best case 4 5 round pick in a deep class he slipped to 7th .. And if he didn't come out he may not have been drafted .. The gay thang was about getting paid (endorsements and such ) not about football .. His agent and him have made a good living off the whole gay thang ..

Any quarterback with pro experience is better equipped for pro football than a college quarterback. And right now, Manziel is still only a college quarterback.

You don't suddenly become a professional QB just by being drafted. It takes practice, coaching and reps. And as of today, Manziel hasn't had so much as a training camp snap.

Thus, the notion that he could be 'already better' than any pro QB is just silly.
