Johhny Rookie QB will have a career resembling Jake Locker more than RG3.

He just has a lot of limitations that his new team would have to go "all in" in terms of catering the offense to fit Manziels style for him to succeed.

Id say that Brady Quinn was more pro ready at this same stage of their careers and Cleveland has never really made anyone better in their career.

With Josh Gordon and Chudzinski they had a chance but neither are around this season.

Johnny FB is going to have to make better and quicker decisions than he did in college.

Because of the offense A&M ran some teams would only rush 3 or sometimes 2 guys, and even then they were often just trying to contain him in the pocket.

Often times JFB would have all day to find a guy. That is not going to happen on NFL. NFL has been getting better every year at containing then collapsing the pocket against these guys. Cam is rare because of his size. JFB is quick and shifty and will be able to make some plays with his feet. But to maximize his ability he is going to have to make quicker and better decisions.

He is one of the first QBs that I can't figure out how his game will translate to NFL. I truly won't be surprised if he is great or if he busts.

Not an RG3 fan myself.

I kind of like Johnny Football.

That being said, "Manziel is already a better QB than RG3" is a ridiculous statement.

Agreed. RG3 won the heisman with passing for yards being his main weapon. Johnny will have to develop his passing like Cam has.

Now Cam is better than RG3 but I don't think that needed to be said.

A few things.

You're over selling Johnny FB alot. Lets not forget that like Cam, Griffin won the Heisman trophy AND NFL rookie of the year. So if  you're saying Johnny is already better then Griffin you're setting the bar ridiculousy high  we're talking NFL rookie of the year high.

But lets put NFL accomplishment aside for a second. Griffin was hands down the better college prospect then Manziel.

Better arm, better accuracy, bigger, faster, stronger. You name it. On the field or off the field.

 

Look it I like Johnny Manziel a lot too. I'm partial towards playmaking QBs.

But he's not already better then Griffin. That's absurd.

Lol, draft pundits DO NOT reflect the way the NFL team's actually grade the prospects. Draft pundits give their opinions mixed with whatever misinformation team officials give them. And the information team officials give the media is always for their own purposes so the truth of their information is suspect AT BEST. Point being is that pundits don't know they're guessing. So when a prospect 'falls' they're not really 'falling' their experiencing the difference between how the NFL team's feel about that prospect vs the way draft pundits feel about said prospect.

 

(3) Lol, what 'dumb' mistakes did Griffin make? You know what? Nevermind, don't want to know.

 And LOL that you think Griffin is deathly scared of the 'great' Kirk Cousins; the QB we couldn't get more then a 4th round pick for.

 

(4) People don't compare Cam and Johnny because people usually compare QB based off measurables.

You know how I said Griffin is bigger, faster stronger? Well x2 for Cam. Cam can throw and run it through a brick wall.

Johnny has adequate arm strength.

 

(5) Johnny's biggest hurdle will be with the Browns rookie front office to include owner and with Kyle Shanahan.

Kyle's offense and Johnny's skillset are perfect for one another but make no mistake as Redskin's fan I can tell without prejudice that Kyle is brilliant but he's also a prick of the highest order.

This is what so many people don't realize. They're just television guys and know no more than most folks on the Internet, and most likely less if you follow certain players or teams.

There is a reason why RG3 got drafted in the top 10 and Johnnie FB didn't. RG3 might be a douche but when healthy and I say When, he will always be a better football player. If I give one reason and just one alone its because he came out if college making all the throws of a NFL QB. Johnnie is not even there yet and IMO better lose the cockyness and start grinding cause its a up hill battle for that boy in the NFL.

As a person who thought the whole Redskin fan base was delusional when discussing RG3 you just proved me wrong. Great post.
