After some short-sighted, casual consideration, Gaffney reminds me of a better version of Ryan Grant.

A thing I think should be noticed (per El Panthers own website) is that the D got some strong additions and could be even better than last season.  I don't wanna hype anyone up more than they need to but Benwikere looks legit and will be in a Rivera defense.  The whole haul in Ealy, Boston, and Bene is great.

 

-At CB we have White/Cason with Bene, Dockery and Godfrey competing to play as well.  --check

 

-At WR we have 2 RZ threats (Benj, JC), a slot vet (Avant), Underwood, and unknowns competing.  

 

-TE is Williams v. Dickson v. Jefferson for a pretty considerable role  

 

-LT is our only real weakness but I don't think it's as weak as peeps think.  It's going to be a lofty expectation but I think Chandler is going to be our LT and do well.  

 

Our KR/PR battle will be interesting as well

The RB we drafted doesn't look fast at all, but he does seem strong and good for short yard situations (esp behind turner).

Davis wasn't fast, but was strong and could break a tackle. Gaffney is quick enough to get the job done.  Tolbert isn't fast either, but is built like a truck.
