That's right the army combines their basic and mos school for some.

That's so weird. I was TAD at Sand Hill for a few months because the controller had a sense of humor. They had me doing live fire training with the infantry guys. Couple times I got asked if I wanted to shoot with the soldiers that didn't qualify. Craziest thing being between two guys that qualified and I didn't hit one thing

I'm am a veteran, so I appreciate the gesture. But today is nit veteran's day. It's to remember those who have passed.

This is an idiotic comment.

People who say thanks realize it's a privilege to live in the greatest country in the world not because they are scared to join the forces.

Newsflash... not everyone has the body type or passes the medical standards it takes to join the military. On top of that not everyone feels called to be a marine or naval officer. I guess those who don't want to be doctors are afraid of performing open heart surgery.
