That #2 TE spot.

blockel and olsen are the only locks. people always forget ST, i believe there isnt one type of STs that brockel isnt a part of. he one of those guys that coaches will fight for. hes even a ok FB too, just a super football player.

i think the panthers will carry 4, but each of guys besides olsen/block are in for a dog fight. McNeill got a 100,000 signing bonus and hes a pure blocker. the panther what to keep running the rock so..... williams is a greek god, but raw. panthers red-skirted him last year so...... dc jefferson was a great value 7th rounder last year that played in about 8 games before the DWI learning lesson so.....

one could get injured, so picking 4 is easy. it will be one of the closest battles imo.

My guess is that it's wide open, and blocking ability will likely be the deciding factor. I think Williams will be give every opportunity to show he wants the job, and if he capitalizes it's his over Dickson.

probably dickson. his skills as a blocker are probably going to make up for a lot of deficiencies at the tackle position.

I assume you're being sarcastic.

He said he can stretch the field and hinted that he was "ready" from that espn interview. It sounded like he was really excited and b will was going to get opportunities. At least that's the way I took it

That's the way it sounded to me also

Why did dg say b will was ready to go?

His blocking must have improved because his route running and catching ability seems like it was already there. I think there going to give him a chance to start.

Dickson Vs. Williams will def be a good camp battle.

The TE2, WR, and CB battles should be fun to see go down.

Ed Dickson is a poor blocker btw. He is a natural pass catcher with concentration lapses.

I think bc of his experience he has a laeg up on Willams.

As RumGone said, DG clearly said we think he is taking the next step as a field stretcher and was very matter of fact about it.

DG is lots of things.. But if he does state something it is usually with purpose and based on his true feelings.
