How would Hardy miss the first half of the season? He won't even get suspended it was his first time getting in trouble with the law in the nfl right?

 

I believe that is the case.

 

It is also plausible that this entire thing gets expunged.  Hardy has favorable evidence, co-operated with enforcers and has been showing up to court unlike his "victim".
