Congratz to Zeller, hopefully he takes a Dirk level jump in his second season. Just compare the rookie numbers.. 

 

 

Dirk averaged 8 ppg and 3.4 rebounds and shot 40% from the field. Then averaged 17 points in his second season. 

Zeller averaged 6ppg and 4 rebounds while shooting 43% from the field. ...............

I seed a 15/10 player in his future in two to three years.

Congrats to him!  The only big man on the First team is Mason Plumlee who had to play a lot of minutes with Lopez going down early, so no surprise there.  He was also only 1 of 3 guys picked in the top 10 to make either team

One of the worst rookie classes ever, but nice to see Zeller rebound from his rough start. 

 

I was a fan of the pick (once the initial shock ended), and think Zeller could become a very productive 4th/5th guy

Those guys are all older, & 4 of them played big minutes on 4 of the worst teams in basketball. The other is Mason freaking Plumlee, who played a ton for Brooklyn. Zeller & Plumlee have an identical Per 36. The difference? Mason is already 24 years old & is not gonna get any better.

Cody Zeller is a young, elite prospect. Just 2 years ago the very same people bashing him were saying Charlotte needed to tank so they could draft Cody #1.

Zeller, 21- 13 pt, 9 reb, 2 ast, 2 to
