Yeah I've completely stopped going to Subway, Firehouse, Jersey Mike's, pretty much anywhere is better...

I honestly like subway as well as the other sub places too. I usually make my own sandwich.

It's amazing though. They load your subs too, and I love that you can get a 14 incher.

We stopped at a Subway in GA near the SC border a few weeks ago and I had the best sub I've ever had in my life there, it was just Turkey and bacon with avocado.

 

Got one just like it at the Subway uptown and they put way too much avocado on it and ruined it. So I think that the custom nature of sub sandwich making has a big effect too.

If you had seen what I have seen you would not eat at half of the places you like.

Over the years it has reduced the amount of food chains I eat at by 80%.

and I'm ok not knowing as long as the building has that A sticker on the window. I managed rest's in my youth and I can tell you getting a B health rating means something is seriously nasty and fuged up.

this thread inspired me to go to Jersey Mikes and I got a big kahuna Philly steak and it was pretty good not great, Firehouse has them beat by a mile.
