I think it's human nature to attack when you or someone you care about is slighted. Get a group mentality that shares a common hero and common perceived villain, and it's a foregone result.

I'm sure every fan message board in sports shares this exact same experience in some way.

 

 

I agree, but, you know, they did Cam wrong.  And I know it's not necessarily right or healthy to make a record of these past ills, but I am still ill about it.  That "fake smile" is representative of a "multitude of sins" in my book, and I am loath to forget anytime soon.

Oh trust me I feel you. But I think it's natural to hate on people when your guy has been hated on. Most people here hate Luck just because he gets the hype and our guy gets shitted on. You'll see moving forward that Mike Evans will be our next Andrew Luck when compared to our Cam (Kelvin Benjamin).

The comments made by the GM is a coward move and the wrong way to deal with a rookie you just drafted.  I'm not a Manziel fan by any means but no player deserves to be chastised publicly.  It does nothing but damage the kids confidence.  The Browns deserve to be at the bottom of the barrel.  Terrible.

This is the kind of crap that has been going on in Cleveland for years... as a transplanted Buckeye I have first-hand experience and have had front row seats to the circus we all know as the Browns. I'm actually hoping Manziel can live up to the hype and scoop Cleveland out of the sewer they have been dwelling in.

The GM and Head Coach didn't pick Manziel. They had Bridgewater's name on the card and Haslam(the Owner) erased it and put Manziel's name at the last minute. Manziel text the OC and begged to be picked as he was falling during the draft. The OC passed the message to the owner and he made the call at the last minute.
