Because of Haplo E. Should go check out the Luck thread in football central. Him and footballisasport are crazy conspiracy theorists.

He has something against white quarterbacks. Probably white players in general judging by his Kuechly comment while ago.

They may not be that good at the conspiracy theory thing because Peyton and Brady are the supposed top dog. Lol

Browns coach Mike Pettine today to ESPN:

on Manziel:

“First of all, I don’t think we’ve ever said we don’t want him running around. We’re going to put him in situations where he can execute an offense that will give us the best chance to win,” Pettine said.

“We’re going to take advantage of his mobility. You don’t take a guy that’s made a living being a mobile quarterback and tell him all of a sudden he has to be a statue. When he’s in there, and we have actually things set for him in a game plan, there’ll be things to take advantage of things he can do with his feet.”

note that the Brown's new offensive coordinator is Kyle Shanahan, who ran a read-option offense the last two years with RGIII at the Redskins

also, earlier this month the new Redskins coach, Jay Gruden, says he is going away from the read-option, and RGIII said he is ‘all for’ the reduction of the read option in the Redskins offense

Gruden was asked about the use of the read option in Washington’s offense next season:

“We’ll have sprinkles here and there. It’s not going to be a major part. I want to make sure that we have other things that we can do besides the read option, because it takes a toll. You have to practice it a lot to be very good at it. It kind of takes away from the defense’s ability a little bit, it takes away from other plays that you need to work on, your protection schemes, your running game, all that stuff. It just takes away from that. So we want to make sure that we work on the core running game that we have, the core drop-back passes we have. And then once we get going, we get those implemented, maybe sprinkle in some read option.”

Asked how he felt about the read option in only “sprinkles,” RGIII is in support of it:

“It’s coach’s decision,” he said Thursday on NFL Network . “Last year we ran it a lot. If he wants to use a sprinkle, a dash, whatever he decides, that’s his take, and I’m all for it.

“I know guys like myself have used that attack our whole careers, so it’s part of our game. At the same time, it’s not like we live and die by it.”

The players chose the school(system) they gonna play in. For Manziel that's the only system he knew he would succeed in. Chip Kelly was another one of his choices. Can't blame the system for the QB's failure.

This shows how much of a complete dumbass you truly are.

When Manziel signed with A&M, Mike Sherman (the current OC of the Miami Dolphins), who ran more pro-style concepts in his offense, was the head coach, not spread-offense Kevin Sumlin.

I doubt he knows who either of those guys are (or how they run an offense, or what difference it makes, etc).

Actual facts aren't exactly a big part of his argument.

What Luck thread? Can't a guy think Manziel sucks? If that's the case I guess my assumption was right, he's the savior.

It's very possible to think that Manziel will suck (I'm one of the people who believes it).

It's idiotic to believe that you can know for sure that he does suck after just a couple of days of minicamp.

There are only two things in this world I cannot abide. People who are intolerant of others peoples cultures. And the Dutch.

Oh, and once again, not to be that guy, but, Harpo and Thai are the best trolls we've had around here in a while. Funny guys. Not to bright. But that's what makes them so funny. Makes one grateful they invented the interwebz.
