It is completely fair. She married him before he became filthy rich. She deserves half. Do you think he made that money by being a great person? You could only argue is it fair that a man has 9 billion dollars.

I will give the man credit, he didn't make her disappear. Hell for 4.5 billion he could probably invade Switzerland.

I guess its fair if i sit on my ass and wait for Bill Gates son to inherit his fathers money and divorce him later right? :p

Apples to oranges. And Bill Gates's son doesn't have to marry you. If he enters into a legally binding union without a prenup then common law applies.

Why can't both parties just agree to an amicable sum and not try to break the other person? You once loved them (I hope) so just try to end things as peacefully as possible. I understand the arguments of if she helped him make his money and blah blah, but it just feels empty. I guess I just don't care about money like that.
