9th Pick

  1. 1. Who do you want Cha to draft at 9 and why?

I really don't like picking at 9 because Gordon is going to be there at 9, but he's unpolished and it will take some time for him to reach his potential.

I don't know if Monroe is worth what's close to a max but I'm going to try and pry him away without having to do a sign & trade for our 24th pick.

After that I'd ship #9 and Henderson for Klay Thompson (that way they can draft Gordon instead of offering a kings ransom for Love).

Then with our 24th pick take Hairston and with our 45th pick take Jordan Clarkson.

PG: Walker, Livingston (Sign), Clarkson (Draft)

SG: Thompson (Trade), Hairston (Draft), Neal

SF: Kidd-Gilchrist, Taylor, Douglas-Roberts (Re-Sign)

PF: Monroe (Sign), Zeller, McAdoo (UDFA)

C: Jefferson, Biyombo, Haywood

We have two needs, a good PF and a good SG. We can either try to get just one of those guys this year or we can try to get both.

I say go for both and give yourself a chance at being a top four seed.

I'm not sure if Gordon will even be there. Utah or Lakers may look at him.

I'm also not sure if Monroe will be worth what teams will give him. Washington will probably go hard after him and Monroe being a DC kid.

I think Gortat and Jefferson is a better match.

Gary Harris, a sharp shooter is my guy. But, I can't pass up on Aaron Gordon even though he's only 6'9".

Gordon is only 19 with a huge ceiling. He'll add another 15-25lbs to his frame. He was probably the best defender in the nation last year; can defender the perimeter as well. Plays with a high IQ. A smart, smart, very smart player. He's a double double guy.

I'm not worried about his offensive game one bit. It will come!!! His offense is not MKG/Biz bad. Gordon will get his points through lobs like Blake and being physical in the paint atm. Once he get his jump shots in, GAME OVER!!!! "Mark Price"

I chose to go with Gordon not knowing if we can land a legitimate PF like Monroe or Z-Bo in FA; probably won't happen. Plus, we could get a nice SG like Lavine, Hairston, or Robinson III at 24.

Gordon is MKG 2.0....how much Arizona BBall did you watch this year? MY guess is not very much. #comeonman

Julius Randle falls to us and we don't pass up on him

Yup. Would love for this to happen but I just don't see it.

They better not waste this gift they just got from the NBA on that Croatian prospect Dario or whatever. They need to draft a guy at #9 who can contribute immediately.

Draft Express who consistently does the best mocks in the business has Gordon falling to ten. Realistically, one of McDermott, Vonleh, or

Gordon is going to be there at 9 making BPA a PF. We need a dominant PF right now. We already have our own unpolished power forward, no reason to draft another one.

If you want one of Stauskas, Harris, or Ennis, or Hood, that's cool. Not one of them screams super star to me (more like decent starter) which is why I'd be open to trading the pick for an established starter or trade down to the 13-15 area to take whoever is there (one of Hood, Stauskas, or Harris will be there) while picking up a future first in the process.

Im also a big fan of James Young. The kid can flat out shoot the ball. It's really a toss up with Young, Harris, and Stauskas on who's the better shooter.

no it's not stauskas is in a different galaxy from those two when it comes to shooting. Don't like young. Far from consistent and awful on d

Don't talk to me man.

I can't take a person who's making such retarded comparison seriously.

I know for a fact I watched more of Arizona games than your bull$hit.

No, you didn't. Gordon is MKG 2.0 - just what we need. Another guy who can't shoot a rock into an ocean and is going to need a few years to develop. We already have a defensive "stopper" in MKG and there's plenty of people in this fanbase that want that guy released/traded ASAP.

Gortat is too old for me.

Monroe is on the rise and I think we need to pull the trigger.
