Favorite BofA Stadium moments

I remember the 2004 game, we started 1-7 didnt we? Was the year smith was hurt first game of the year, nick goings was our running back and had like 3-4 100 yard games in a row and it all came down to that kick...I was in the upper deck and the whole stadium was standing up and was quiet waiting on the kick that could send us to the playoffs

Yep.  2004 started off horrifically on a Monday Night against Green Bay when Smitty broke his leg.  Kris Jenkins was lost a couple weeks later.  The season turned in San Fran when moose went nuts with three TD's (he also had one of the best season's ever from a TD rec. standpoint).

We somehow managed to stay in the playoff hunt despite our terrible record and then all the cards fell right and if we would have beat New Orleans, we would have been in as a wild card, despite an 8-8 record.

to reiterate

I was at Cams first win  the torrential rain game vs Jags

I as at the #89 vs saints game....... ( sux we lost that one)

Fred Lanes break out game

John Kasay's career long FG game

I think Clausens first start and win (maybe last?)  ( game sucked Zona)

and for all the 2000+ games where you say the stadium was so loud........ I wish you were at that Fred Lane game...... the staduim was shaking after the game on the way out down the ramps to  FREDDY! FREDDY! FREDDY! FREDDY! FREDDY! FREDDY! FREDDY!

FREDDY  was ringing out down the streets outside the stadium.   You had to be there

I was at that SNF game against the Bucs where Steve Smith caught a TD pass and then immediately ran to the sideline and puked.

I also said something to a Cowboys fan that has probably stuck with him ever since that Cowboys game where Smith got ejected on Xmas eve. I used to be quite the poo talker and this is one of the few things I kinda feel bad about to this day. I also could have got into some trouble during the Saints game after Katrina. To this day, it still gets under my skin on how rude those homeless, displaced Saints fans were that game considering Mr. Richardson gave many of them free tickets.

I should have had my ass kicked in there plenty of times and I think I've used up most of my luck. A lot tamer now in there. Comes with age and maturity I guess.

they still don't think of the panthers as a "real team" in spite of the fact that the redskins have had their thumb up their ass as a franchise for 20 years and we've won three in a row against them.

one of my favorite panther memories was a preseason game in 2008 because of that.  i used to work with a bunch of redskins and cowboys fans and they were generally alright.  there was this one guy who'd give me non stop poo for liking a "gay team like the panthers" even though the last time the redskins had done anything he was like 13 and jacking off to his mom's victoria's secret catalog.

anyway he was talking poo to me about a fuging preseason game of all things in 2008.  we were both going and his last words to me on friday were that his skins were gonna "whup that panther pussy ass" (exact quote).

it was this game lol:

This is the game where Theismann (who was working for the Skins network) commented on one of our scoring plays that it was "like stealing" (meaning it was too easy).

Probably would have to be 2005 home opener against the Patriots.

2nd time ever in the stadium, but first time as a resident of the city. :D

When the whole upper deck started to shake and I could feel it under my feet with the cheering and celebration of the anticipated win that was coming... I knew I was going to have SO many good memories at the place!

Yup, cuz the first time I was at the stadium... Smitty broke his leg in the home opener on MNF against GB (2004, and I was still living in NY then. I drove down for the game).... so, that sucked.

Let's see, the Texans game with Smitty getting gang tackled but never going down, and running for the TD like 70+ yards.

The Jacksonville game in the pouring down rain. (I think I was with BMorgan that game) (And the JStew run that got called back)

The MNF Bucs game was epic as well to be in the stadium for as well.

But, not game related... the "Sidewalk sale" at the stadium was pretty epic as well. That I think was in 2005 too.

Man, this is a hard thread.....so many awesome games.

Let's see....

2008 MNF vs TB to seal the division.....damn that was one of the coldest games I've ever been to but I think I was orgasming by the end of the game...there were so many crazy plays and turnovers. Voice was gone for at least a week after that.

2011 Jags game where it POURED and (was it jstew?) had that amazing run where he basically somersaulted over someone and we barely won....BUT WE WON!! that one sticks in my memory because its rare I get to go to games with my little sistah and I took her that day. got hammered with all the Carolina Huddle guys- hey JT, that was the game where I fell in the middle of the street after the game and you were laughing at me....I still have a scar on my knee!

2010 49ers game where we won at the last minute when Matt Moore threw that pass to David Gettis for a TD that led to a winning drive down the field for Kasay to kick the FG and win by 3. MadHatter took my girlfriend and I to that game and I don't think I've ever harassed other fans enough to a point where they leave and don't come back. That bitch shoulda kept her mouth shut, right MadHatter?! Phil McRotch!! I believe that was one of the only games we won that season, and yes, I borderline cried because I was so happy we had won.

Last Year's playoff game just because I got AHHHMAZING seats and didnt have to pay face value for them.

Lets see, this is a hard one since many games I've been to we've lost..

1.) Jacksonville game and this is why I'm quoting this post I was at that game drunk out of my mind soaked, unbelieveable never seen rain like that even on TV. It was a nice day girls were in short shorts then all the sudden a frigging cloudburst opened up they all went running wet T shirts and all water rolling down the steps J stew had the amazing run. My phone and wallet were soaked. Somehow my phone didn't mess up I went to the bathroom and wrapped it up in several paper towels and I was in the upper deck EVERYBODY was watching when J stew had that jack nasty run and we all cheered and high fived . We were watching on those small TV's by the bathrooms and then  I went back up to my seat and enjoyed the rest of the game.

2.) 2013 49ers Divisional Playoff game: I realize this was a loss but it was the biggest game I've ever been to at Bofa, I was so PUMPED pregame it felt like I wanted to be out there with my boys. But after the game I left drunk and in disbelief, not much to say here other than I kept believing we could come back..  Met some cool 49ers fans sitting in my section once again the upper deck. Me and him were basically commentating the game the entire time, but I was crazy I remember this game mainly because it was the last time I'd ever see my favorite Panther catch a touchdown pass Steve Smith. I wore his jersey that day, but I never knew it would be the last time I'd see Smitty.

3.) Patriots Vs Panthers 2004 Preseason I think ? - We were rivals because they had beaten us in the SB, My dad and I went and we got to see a Patriots fan get his arse kicked and he rolled down the stairs. Needless to say security escorted their drunk asses out but we all cheered when the Pats fan got his ass whipped. Pretty barbaric but I remember laughing about it I am evil lol.

Yeah not a lot of good memories because some have been really fuzzy and I don't save my ticket stubs, Most games I went to were losses.

Wasn't this the game that you and your sister came down the ramps while JT and I were talking and you were screaming at us "WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" lol and then afterward on the way back to the parking lot you were saying "Even the injured guy  came!" about Bmorgan?!

I think I have videos from that day somewhere. ;) lol

1) Being at the Buccs game in 2003

1a) Being at the Saints game last year.

Those two are the two best memories for me.  I guess the Buccs game gets the tiebreaker since we went to the Super Bowl.  And I've been to some of the most iconic home games in team history, but those two stand out the most.  The Saints game of '13 felt like being in a Science Fiction movie.  That was probably the most surreal game.

haha yeah it was either that one or the Redskins game a few years back.....got pretty hammered at that one too

and ohmygoodness, if you have those videos, you better delete them! You never know where you are going to show up after Alverez gets a hold of you on video or image!

Raiders game in '97. We were beating dat ass, I went out on the concourse to smoke a cigarette, watching the game on one of tv's out there. This HUGE dude in complete Raiders gear (spiked shoulder pads, silver and black face paint, bandanna, etc) came out just as we got an interception and I was celebrating. He stared at me for a second, mumbled "Good game, brother" and left.
