I don't know if this deal goes through or not.... But I don't expect the Hornets to use either pick on a prospect. They'll either move up or trade both away for a player.

Agreed, I think one of Hayward, Monroe, or Love will be a Hornet.

When I saw the Hornets get the #9 pick last night I felt if the NBA really is a conspiracy the NBA wants to return Charlotte to the glory days. Maybe Love is in the cards ;)

I just think Love wants to be in a bigger market.  Charlotte isn't necessarily a drastic change from Minnesota market wise.

Love is a west coast guy who wants to play on a contender.

 

Trying to sell him on Charlotte, NC...on a team more inept than his own the last few years, would be nearly impossible IMO. Big Al is a stud and Kemba is a nice player, but it still isn't the draw that playing with Curry would have for him, or Noah/Rose, or Kobe, or CP3/Blake, or whatever else he chooses.

We look pretty good right now compared to the TWolves.  Love's best chance is in the east.
