Tats: sexy or no?

On a random note....

This lady is sitting in the indoor playground at McDs reading a book with a perpetual grin on her face. For 15 mins straight. I wonder if she's reading 50 Shades of Gray....

It's all about personality and your environment too. A fat little redneck chick with a Spongebob tattoo? That's gross. A sexy, petite club girl with a tramp stamp? Sexy, yes, but too trendy and she already regrets it. But a pretty gal who works as a hair stylist with a full sleeve? Sexy as hell.

My tattoo artist is a gal. She's covered in them. It works for her. I'm slowly getting covered in them and I work in advertising. It works for me. But a guy who works at Bass Pro Shop with neck and hand tattoos? That doesn't work.

The most important thing to know is that if you truly want one, get one. It's your body. But don't get one just to get one. Think about who you are and what you can put on your body that still lets you be you. Think about the future, and what it will look like when you're older and where you'll be in that future with the tattoo(s).

But if you have to ask people if tattoos are sexy on girls, and how many/where is too much or not sexy ... then you probably shouldn't get one.

Exactly why I haven't added on in almost 7 years.  I come up with ideas, but in the end I work myself out of it.  If I was impulsive, I would have A LOT.  I want more, but it has to be something I'll look at when I'm 70 and say, "Damn, minus the wrinkly skin, this tattoo is still badass."

Oh I'm not getting one. I'm a fan, just not for me necessarily.
