welp… due to time constraints (specifically the fact that i already feel shitty enough about being away from wife/kid for a trip) i've canceled the entire eastern europe part of the trip. this will shave a good five or six days off my schedule as well as a few hundred dollars. instead i'm flying directly to istanbul from london.

 

the good news is i'll be there for a day and a half… so if any of you have been to istanbul and have suggestions, do it plz

my daughter is a year old, which means i'm missing a couple weeks with her and simultaneously shifting the burden of care entirely to my wife (and mother-in-law)
