So you really were just using cliches and not posing the idea that we can only do one: win the cover or win actual games?

Seriously. I can't link it on the go but look at his instagram. The guy constantly posts about his madden games and has "madden Mondays"

When we went 6-10 in 2011, Cam's phenomenal NFL debut and him being voted rookie of the year at least took some of the sting off of a losing season. I cannot imagine however that there were many Detroit Lions fans last year for example who sat around thinking to themselves "well at least Calvin Johnson was on the Madden cover, going 7-9 doesn't quite suck soooo bad after all".

The point is this is not nearly as relevant as some make it out to be. It's not going up under anyone's official accomplishments.
