Very sad to hear.  I'm happy he was able to spend one last mother's day with her this past weekend.  There's just nothing like a mother's love.

Cancer may have taken her body but DeAngelo immortalized her spirit when he spearheaded the effort to wear pink for breast cancer awareness. All the things that stem from that will keep her memory and soul alive. A man's love for his mother and the recognition of all the brave people who have fought this often silent killer.  I take my hat off to the both of them and to the survivors and their families .  I will be heading out to the relay for life in the morning.
