TE Joel Murphy 6'6 270. Damn!

That stood out to me as well. I also was looking at offensive linemen and cbs over 6 ft. I hope we can find a hidden gem at both positions.

You guys notice the trend? Like 90% of the players are over 6 feet tall. Gettleman really takes the "big men allow you to compete" philosophy seriously.

What I noticed the most was we only brought in 4 offensive linemen.  1 Center, 2 Guards and 1 Tackle and that was the giant Canadian David F.

So what does that tell you?  I think that Gettleman is much higher on our OTs than we are, and he's more worried about interior depth.

 

Preseason ought to be super interesting.  I look forward to seeing if we can get some of these UDFAs to come in and compete.  The highly drafted Canadian players are interesting to see how well it works out for them.  Geydosh (sp?) was the #1 pick, and this dude was #5 this year.  Heck, it probably goes to show the incredible difference in talent too =P

 

But sometimes those CFL games are pretty fun to watch!

I agree, I just found it interesting that only 4 of the tryout guys were interior offensive linemen.

 

Dave Foucault is really intriguing that is for sure.   He is a monster of a man.  6-8 320.  If he has any potential he will end up like Gaydosh and end up on the PS.  I did notice he is 25.

Surprised no one seems to remember Cody Grimm.  He played for the Bucs for a bit (Russ Grimm's kid).

 

Harvey Unga and Dorin Dickerson are names I recognize from stints with prior teams.

 

Pat Lee is one of those guys who was supposed to be good but never really panned out.  Getting another shot now.
