You got that right! Hell my ex had everyone thinking I was a psychotic woman beater and convinced her family, friends and even my kids that. Despite that fact that in 15 years of marriage she had never said I had even said one mean word to her let alone laid a hand on her. Hell my kids never saw or heard me be abusive to her but she still convinced them that she was telling the truth. It took years to undo the damage she did. When I finally was allowed to see my kids it had to be at a police station.

good god..  I have 1 uncle that went through something similar..  Nicest guy ever.  A big teddy bear.  That's the sleeper cell type that once awoken causes massive destruction on innocent lives.  Not just the guy, but the children.  Actually, 2 uncles, but the other didn't face quite as much vindictive behavior.

 

Needless to say, 1 is happily married to a wonderfully caring individual..  and the other that really got burned just turned to serial dating.  He maybe the smartest of us all...

of course not, you're probably a catch.  And it goes both ways.  Some of these guys running around have some serious mommy issues that they seek to cure from the naturally codependent..  and, as I've stated many times, is a seriously destructive disease.
