Where Is Jason Carter?

I'm looking forward to seeing him get some playing time in preseason. This preseason we really need to establish who the no 3 wr is. We don't need to activate one this game and deactivate him the next.

I think he is shooting for the 4th or 5th receiver. Jarrett isn't going anywhere and Robinson has the inside track for number 4. Carter is in a clump of guy battling for the 5th spot this year. It will be tougher to make the team than it was last year.

With Goodson on the team I just don't see how we are going to carry a 5th WR considering he can line up as a WR whenever we need him to. Combined with the fact we are carrying some other specialists I just don't see him making the team, and if he does it would take a lot of doing for him to see the active roster.

Robinson is far from a lock either. If Goodson proves to be reliable return man Robinson is expendable. Carter is by far a better receiver and more electrifying then Robinson.

My thoughts exactly. I'm not sure we'll carry a fifth receiver either.

I don't know that we've seen enough of either at receiver to determine who is the better option at that position. I'm rooting for Carter as much as the next guy, but let's face it: thus far he hasn't proven himself any more than a guy who makes fantastic catches in camp. Yes, his injury hindered him last season, but he's going to have to dominate in the preseason to have any shot at making the roster.

Just like you pretend not to notice when our stadium is completely being owned by opposing fans you pretend like Carter actually did something when we all know he did nothing in his limited action in preseason. He may have had a shot to make the team but thats ONLY because of Robinsons injury. He was not the least bit impressive doing punt returns or in his limited time playing receiver against other 4th stringers. I couldnt understand what all the hype was about when he was clearly just another guy battling for a practice squad spot.

The best thing to do with him is ignore him. He is the anti fan. He thrives on negative critical ideas and really enjoys arguing and riling folks up. Half the time he does it to get a reaction. I don't know what these kind of folks get out of that kind of negative interaction. He is just a troll and always has been.
