I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.  His best hope will be from the pocket.  If he takes off, he better learn how to slide, otherwise he's gonna get smashed like Bob 3.

 

What made him great in College will get him killed in the NFL.  DBs in college for the most part cannot lay the lumber like NFL DBs.   Once he is free of the LOS he and tap dance to the end zone.   In the NFL he will get his clock cleaned.

 

If he can prove he can stay in the pocket and only run when absolutely necessary he might be as good as R. Wilson.  If he thinks he is coming in the NFL and run around like he did in college he will not last long.

 

Even Cam has learned to slide every now and then.

Both players are similar in that they play quarterback. They can both extend plays with their athleticism. Manziel was faster at the 3 cone but Newton edged him on the 40 yd dash. They both won the Heisman. Newton is tall. Manziel is shorter than Newton.

The thing that you have to understand about Johnny is that Johnny is Hollywood. He's so awesome! He drinks his beer like a man, he picks on the nerds, and he just knows how much better than he is than everyone else! The bottom line is that Johnny sells tickets immediatly, which is what the Browns want. Sure 3 years from now this is going to be looked at as one of the worst picks in the entire draft, and Browns will once again have a Top5 pick in the draft, and at an all time low in tickets sold, but Johnny Hollywood is AWESOME!
