Huddle opinion..Hardy and J.R's tolerance level

I realize that many of you are bored and have nothing else better to do then flip the fug out, but all we have right now are allegations from a drunk girlfriend.

It's not grounds for dismissal from the team and I'm sure unlike many of you knuckle heads the team is trying to get its facts together before it reacts.

Jesus this reaction makes me think some of you are children.

I was responding to a post that said he may be gone because JR won't put up with any distraction after previous incidents.... Not sure what you think that tells you.

"Hardy's talent will trump any distraction" you said.

This story is way bigger than a "distraction".  Two people's lives are changed forever as of now.  Guilty or not, Hardy is going to spend the rest of his life with people looking at him as a 'woman beater'.  How do you think that sits with a teammate who had an abusive father or one who has a relative that was a victim of domestic abuse?

If he did even half of the things alleged in the complaint, he's absolutely gone.  And right now, the public image of a woman with bruises all over her body and her arm in a sling juxtaposed with a hulking football player who's labelled as the one who gave those things to her is a lot to overcome.

Right, I said it trumps any distraction in response to a post saying he'd be gone because of it causing a distraction.  You don't think the image of a football player pointing a gun at a stripper is a lot to overcome?  Because the Panthers found a way.  You think all the players were fine with Steve Smith beating up teammates?  Panthers found a way to get over that one too.  It's May, assuming he's even found guilty this story will be long gone by the time the season rolls around and what will be left is a top level DE in his prime with a misdemeanor conviction.  I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that won't be enough for the Panthers to cut ties.

Do you remember what Chris Terry was accused of?

How about mark Fields?  He was central to the 2003 season.  Do you ever see the Panthers talk about him now?

Domestic violence is not considered 'a distraction' by either the league or the team.  They take it deadly serious.

Believe it or not, there are things in this world more important than winning football games.

How bout we wait and see what happens before we go full Retard and paint an image of   "Oh Lordy,  Oh Lordy,  she is on crutches,  with an arm in a sling,  a fractured jaw,  most of her teeth are missing,  two black eyes,  Oh lordy lordy,  Hardy is the devil,  the devil, he deserves to be kicked because someone accused him of something".

According to reports of the domestic violence incident, Boley allegedly pushed his wife against a wall, threw her over a couch and shoved her into a kitchen cabinet door, leaving bruises on her upper back. He has since filed for divorce, which, according to court records, should be finalized this month. A mutual restraining order is in effect.

McDaniel, 25, was arrested last Feb. 6 and charged with misdemeanor battery against his girlfriend, Alaina Smith, in a domestic dispute. McDaniel, who had returned home early that morning after a night out with friends, allegedly threw Smith to the ground. Saying he had been unsuccessfully trying to reach her by phone, he then took her phone and threw it to the ground, smashing it. - See more at: http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/thedailydolphin/2010/09/27/de-tony-mcdaniel-suspended-one-game-for-february-incident/#sthash.GfJln5WG.dpuf

JR doesn't really make the football decisions unlike Jerry Jones. He is smart enough to know to let Gettleman handled the daily football operations. Gettleman won't like this of course but he still plans to play him for at least this year. Now long term this could have a significant impact but short term I dont think it really affects anything.

So now its only the Panthers that take it seriously?  So again tell me why Jeremy Bridges didn't get cut after pulling a gun on a stripper.  and then was re-signed in 2012 when the Panthers needed a lineman.

The NFL takes it seriously too.  Hence, why guys get suspensions.  The difference is that the league generally prefers for the full legal process to play out before it does anything.  Teams may or may not.

And yes, individual teams have their own ideas.  You cited the Bucs, a team that kept Jerramy Stevens on roster for years.  There are plenty of teams out there like the Bengals, Raiders and Cowboys who don't give a rip what their players do.

The Panthers are not one of those teams.  Many have said that Jerry Richardson still gets boiling mad at the mere mention of Rae Carruth.  I'm sure the first response if "he didn't kill her" but according to her story he threatened to on more than one occasion, including this incident.

If that proves credible, it's likely enough to tip the scales all on its own.

I'm guessing there is a clause in the franchise contract that says we can

cut him for off the field issues but I don't know.

But if so, we may have just gotten 13 million dollars we can spend.  The bad news

is all the good left tackles and DE's have already been signed.

But he may just have trade value to a team that is ...less conservative, let's say
