Yes the draft picks do...but they also got ota's and training camp to learn the offense. Guys brought in mid season have to learn on the fly.

I mean you're not wrong but does a season of not producing behind Welker, Thomas x2, and Decker really lower your expectations for a 5th rounder a year later?  It doesn't really for me.  McNutt is a different story.

Where do you see lofty hopes and dreams? Saying one of them can potentially produce like a 15 catch 200 yd season and basically take Hixons spot isn't all that grand.

King is basically the only WR we have that can get behind the defense. He ran a 4.47 at the combine but was a vertical threat in college. For that reason alone I think he makes it. I see many flanker screens involving him and Benjamin this season.

10 catches between king and mcnutt this season. maybe 15, but i think that's being generous.

tbh, i think one gets cut and the other doesn't see the field except for in random packages and will rarely have the ball thrown their way.

i think people are forgetting that this isn't exactly an offense that gives WRs many opportunities at all. if you aren't cotchery, avant, benjamin, or maybe underwood, and are a WR, youd be lucky to even see play time most games and will only be thrown to a handful of times all season.
